Key Responsibilities

The Dairy Farm Assistant role focuses on supporting daily farm operations while maintaining high standards of livestock care, pasture performance, and facility management.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Handling dairy livestock and carrying out routine animal health checks

  • Assisting with milking operations and ensuring animal welfare standards are met

  • Supporting pasture management and grazing activities

  • Performing general farm maintenance and upkeep tasks

  • Operating farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

  • ECR systems, in-bail teat spraying, and auto drafting
